Yes — Memphis Soul Cafe is a proud Black-owned, family-owned business. Founder Jonathan Fowler grew up in Memphis, where soul food is how families celebrate and show up for one another, and he runs it today with his wife Dorian. Faith and family are at the heart of everything we serve.

We do! Along with our Southern sides and fresh salads, we’re glad to accommodate vegetarian and dietary preferences for catering and personal chef bookings — just let us know when you book.

For catering we recommend at least 1–2 weeks ahead so we can plan and shop for the freshest ingredients. Larger events and holidays fill fast, so the sooner the better. A deposit secures your date.
